What is TechMeUp?

TechMeUp is an NGO that helps you bridge the financial gap while you transition into the IT sector. Knowing that retraining is a big step, we support you financially to take control of your future. We believe the costs of retraining shouldn’t be what holds you back. That said, we offer interest-free loans, provided by donations from tech-savvy companies, foundations or other parties.

Interest-free loan for your transition

Our interest-free loans are intended for people with ambitions who cannot claim government funds, subsidies, or -for example- a commercial loan. You only start paying back the amount you’ve borrowed once you’ve landed a job with stable income. It may be unnecessary to say, but our loan is completely interest-free: we even pay the administration costs that come with it. This removes the financial risk and lets you focus 100% on learning.

Our interest-free loan is specifically designed to cover:

  • Tuition fees for bootcamps or courses.

  • Living expenses while you study.

  • Daycare costs when needed.

  • Travel costs to and from your training.

What educators are supported by TechMeUp?

Of course, we want you to actually find a job soon so that you can pay us back and we can financially support someone else. That is why we don’t partner with just everyone: every trainer who joins us is first thoroughly examined by us. This way, we can check whether the course material offered aligns with market demand and whether graduates rate the program highly. On our website you can check all our approved trainers and their programs. In most cases, these programs qualify for our financial assistance. Here you’ll find each of our provider and a list with clear details on:

  • Curriculum: Exactly which skills and technologies you will learn.

  • Course Options: The specific tracks available (e.g., Full-stack, Data, Cyber).

  • Duration: How many weeks or months the program lasts.

  • Costs: Total tuition fees (which we can help cover).

  • Language & Location: Whether the course is in English or Dutch, and if it’s

  • on-site, remote, or hybrid.

How do I apply for a TechMeUp loan?

Easy. If you want to follow a program at one of our educators and you need our financial support, just fill in the application form on this website. We need some personal data to verify whether you are eligible to continue the procedure. From that moment things can go fast: before you know it, you have a career in tech.
